My grandfather and grandmother, Stephen and Margaret Ellen Raynerson, called Maggie, met at a Baptist Encampment, when he came riding up with friends. He had just been discharged from the Union Army. As Grandmother always said, "He was the handsomest man I ever saw. (Incidentally, I guess we resemble her- -Grandmother- -because we didn't get any beauty prizes.) She married him at nineteen years of age (1869) and had three children." pg 96
