"....They farmed for several years and then moved to New Albany. Mr. Trueblood was a contractor-painter. Harvey morris (of Trueblood connections) published an article entitled "Washington County Giants," in 1923, in which he named Elwood trueblood as one of the giants of unusual height, but lighter in build than his brother, Thomas trueblood, also named. Elwood and Celie celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary, 9-19-1958. At 86 years of age, Mr. Trueblood's picture was taken by an alert photographer of the New Albany Tribune, as he was painting his house." pg 124, 125
