Notes taken from

"The Trueblood Family in America" by Bula Trueblood Watson, copyright 1964.

"....went with her family to Indiana in 1815, where they settled on a farm two miles east of Salem. Elizabeth is the daughter who has been reputed to have planted the cypress tree which had been brought from North Carolina and was the source of the name of Nathan's farm and also long remembered landmark for many years: Cypress Hill. She grew up in the Quaker neighborhood and m Charles Poole, 8-12-1830.
Note: in Joshua's Diary: "Elizabeth Pool wife of Charles Pool and daughter of Patience. . .died last night. She was much beloved by all." Elizabeth was referred to in the Sarah Morrison book as the "adored little sister," and she and Sarah's mother, Catherine Morris, were "of kindred spirit." Years later Elizabeth's sister, Margaret (Trueblood) Albertson, wrote from Kansas City, Mo., a fitting tribute to her and another sister, Aseneth: "They were both like Mary Ann (another sister)- -sincere, devoted Christians, always aiming and trying to do all the good they could and no harm."
In 1850, Nathan and Patience Trueblood (grandparents) had John Poole living with them; Joseph and Semira Trueblood (uncle and aunt) had Nathan Poole. The baby, Charles, was probably taken by his paternal grandparents." pg 72
