Listed as I-2984 on page 160, in the book "The Trueblood family In America", listed as the son of Marie "Nina" Mellon & Robert Stellwagen, Jr., this listing was in error as stated by Peggy Ann Tobin He is the son of Alexander Mellon and Margaret Isabelle Gray Mellon. Correction has been made.
Peggy also states that he was a conservation officer & drowned while trying to get someone else out of the water. His birth record originally said Francis C. Mellon. that was crossed out & Thomas J. was written over top.
