Notes taken from

"The Trueblood Family in America" by Bula Trueblood Watson, copyright 1964.

"....m (1) Sarah Warden. Sarah (Warden) Trueblood died ca 1825; Aaron m (2) Polly Rose; they moved to Sullivan Co., Indiana, near Fairbanks, and reared their family. Aaron brought with them from North Carolina their colored "Mammy." After Polly died, 5-10-1880 the care of the children was entrusted to her." pg 56

".....The children of Aaron and Polly (Rose) Trueblood are rather conflicting. The Clyde Trueblood Genealogy lists 11; the Dallas and Oral Trueblood Genealogy names only 9. William Trueblood listed as the son of Thomas may be the same William listed in the Clyde book as the son of Aaron and Rose, since the children's names are very similar: William has ch. Mary Jane, Samaria, Erma, and William; William has as ch. William, Emma, Samira, and Andrew." pg 143
