Notes taken from

"The Trueblood Family in America" by Bula Trueblood Watson, copyright 1964.

"....Benona Trueblood was a Baptist minister. he and his family emigrated to Indiana and were in Vigo Co., in 1828:
Isaac Cox sold to Benona Trueblood, E 1/2, S.W. 1/4, Sec. 13, twp. 10, Range 10, Oct. 12, 1830.
Benona Trueblood bought land from David Cox, June 6, 1828, w 1/2 S, w 1/4, Sec. 13, twp. 10, Range 10.
Bradsbt writes:
Honey Creek Regular Predestinarian Baptist Church was organized in 1830 with fifteen members under Elder James Lee, Benona Trueblood, and Asel Staggs. A church was built in 1845.
In 1850, this family had put down roots in Prairie Township, Vigo Co. Only Thomas and Joseph F. Trueblood, who were 19 and 15 years old respectively, were still living at home with Benona and Bridget. Benona Gregory and William Gregory were on farms of their own in the same township. The senior Benona Trueblood continued to combine farming and soul winning until his death, 5-10-1862, 73 years old." pg 56

Note: On the marriage record of his daughter Margaret Trueblood Keaton, which he performed the wedding of, his name is spelled Benoni, not Benona. This is a record signed by Benoni himself, so more than likely his first name was spelled Benoni, not Benona.
