Doris T.T. Clough, 86

Doris Trueblood Thomson Clough, 86, of Hendersonville died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Park Ridge Hospital following a period of declining health.

She was born in Shelburn, Ind., to the late Alonza Trueblood and Florence Sluder Trueblood and was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Worth Thomson. She was a graduate of St. Anthony's School of Nursing, was a registered nurse and served as an educator and administrator in the medical profession. She had lived in Henderson County for the past 21 years and, for many years, she was a volunteer at Park Ridge Hospital. She was a member of the Mills River Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harry E. Clough of Hendersonville; a daughter, Janice Wedel and husband, Eugene of Orlando, Fla.; a grandson, Gregory Wedel of Chattanooga, Tenn., and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mills River Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Tom Hughes officiating. A committal service was held Jan. 22 in the Chapel of Memories at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Ind.

Shuler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
